Biography: Chris has been involved in the rehabilitation and exercise science field since starting his educational career at Florida State. In his Freshman year, he became an ACSM certified personal trainer and led many fitness and conditioning programs for students and staff at the university. He also began his Physical Therapy career working as a student tech at the Florida State PT clinic, where he assisted in the treatment of high-level college athletes as well as members of the community. Initially, Chris had planned to further his career in the research world of academia, but it was here that he found his niche in treatment and providing high-quality care to patients in a face-to-face environment.

Chris decided to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist and attended the University of Florida, graduating in 2019 with his DPT. In addition to learning from some of the leading research experts in the field, he had the unique opportunity to work as the on-site therapist for the UF Navy ROTC program. This allowed him to hone his assessment and treatment skills, as working with the military requires a large degree of adaptability to provide efficient care. Chris also has his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA, and is well-versed in programming for high-level athletics and sport.

Chris joined our RU team in June of 2019 after he moved across the country to join his long time significant other as she completes her post-grad work at the University of Washington. He is very excited to progress and grow as a clinician alongside the Rehab United team here in Seattle!
