Kinetic Enrichment Program™

P.E. Reimagined  for Today's Educational Landscape

COVID-19 Safety and Compliance

The health and safety of children, their families, and our community as a whole is at the forefront of our every decision.
We believe we have a system in place that will keep all participants as safe as possible while still abiding by the CDC, WHO, as well as local and state government recommendations. By hosting these classes outside and limiting the number of attendees per group, we have the advantage and ability to manage and safely regulate physical distancing requirements in a safer environment.

Upon arrival, everyone including parents and children will be required to wear masks for check-in. Children will continue to wear their masks until placed appropriately by their instructor in their designated area and given the okay to remove their masks for activity. Children will also be required to use hand sanitizer upon arrival to and departure from each session. Each child will be using sanitized equipment and will not be sharing items that contribute to surface contact. Only equipment that is not required to be touched by anyone other than the instructor such as hurdles, agility ladders, cones, and objects of this nature may be shared. In any circumstance, these types of equipment will be handled only by the instructor to help limit surface exposure.

If a child or instructor is to test positive for COVID-19, all parties from that group/session will be contacted by one of our supervisors immediately to stop the potential for spread as quickly as possible. The safety of the program will then be re-evaluated before any additional sessions are to continue for that location.

Additional safety measures that are in place include:

  • All KEP Instructors will wear a mask at all times.

  • Upon arrival, students will have their temperature checked. Any student with a temperature above 100.4 will be asked to go home immediately and monitor their temperature to assess the need for further testing.

  • Any and all equipment will be sanitized before and after every session with approved safe disinfectants.

  • Approved hand sanitizers will be available for children at all times. Families are encouraged to bring their own if desired.

  • Physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times from other children and instructors.

  • Children are required to bring their own full water bottles as well as sweat towels for individual use.

  • Classes are limited to a group of the same students to allow for a more controlled environment. Group sizes will be based on Seattle/Washington phased guidelines.

Along with our promise to follow all guidelines above, we are also asking each family and participants to adhere to the following guidelines in order to help us further protect one another. By participating in this program, all parents acknowledge and agree with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending each session.

You attest that you, your child, and your family:

  • Are not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

  • Have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.

  • Have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days.

  • Do not believe you have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

  • Have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities.

  • Are following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

As a company deeply rooted in health and wellness, we understand the reality around the risk of exposure and assure you that we are committed to doing everything in our power to keep participants and our staff safe. Likewise, however, we also understand the detrimental impact that the lack of physical and social activity can have on children.

We are determined to be the safest and most effective program at continuing to battle diseases like childhood obesity, diabetes, and autoimmune disorders. Physical activity and social interaction are also two of the best ways to fight against anxiety and depression disorders. We believe that movement is medicine and that children’s physical and mental health cannot be forgotten especially during these unprecedented times.

We are here to find the balance and deliver the safest and most effective program possible, and always welcome any feedback that can help us ensure we are accomplishing this in every aspect.
